Personal preparation is a key element in our fasting and prayer.  We encourage you to daily prepare yourself by using the following guide before praying for the designated prayer point.

Confess any known sin and ask for God’s forgiveness.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Be filled with the Holy Spirit

Invite Him to fill you afresh and anew and to fill your home with His presence.

Ephesians 5:18

Put on the whole armour of God

“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.”

Ephesians 6:13-18

Plead the Blood of Christ over yourself and your family

“How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!”

Hebrews 9:14
